According to the Book of Rules for Organization of the Strumica Carnival the following prizes are awarded by categories:

Group with more then 10 participants
1 prize 350 euro
2 prize 250 euro
3 prize 150 euro

Small group - Traditional theme
1 prize 150 euro
2 prize 100 euro
3 prize 75 euro

Small group - Free theme
1 prize 150 euro
2 prize 100 euro
3 prize 75 euro

Masked music group
1 prize 100 euro
2 prize 75 euro
3 prize 50 euro

Single mask - Free theme
1 prize 100 euro
2 prize 75 euro
3 prize 50 euro

Single mask - Traditional theme 1 prize 100 euro

Organizer of the Strumica Carnival is the Board for Organization of the Strumica Carnival which is an organ of the Council of the Municipality of Strumica and is selected by the Council with four years term of office. Patron of the carnival is the Mayor of Municipality of Strumica. The technical organization is assisted by the cultural institutions.

- All those who will submit timely the application can join and can equally participate for the prizes at the carnival and will have quality mask.
- The participants coming outside from Strumica the Board for Organization provides them with one meal.
- Application for the carnival should be submitted at the Bureau and Museum of Strumica every day from 10.00 -13.00 h.

- Participation of younger persons than 12 years only in an organized form through the schools or in a group with adults who will guarantee for the safety of the participants and the quality of the masks.
- The masks should not be higher than 3, 5 m and the vehicles should not be longer than 12 m.
- The Organization Board appeals to the participants to abide by the term for application, so that the submitted texts for the idea of the mask to be ordered and timely submitted to the presenters.
- The Organization Board retains the right to use the photographs and the video recordings from the carnival for advertising purposes in favor of the Strumica carnival.
- Selection committee will be located in front of the House of Culture
- The maximum presentation time is 3 minutes
- Selection committee retains the right to award additional prize
- Selection committee retains the right to reallocate the existing prizes depending on the competition and the quality in the determined categories
- The unmasked music groups will not be evaluated by the selection committee
- The results of the selection committee will be announced at a press conference on Wednesday, 16.03.2005 at 11.00 h. in the House of Cultureand on this web-site
- The decision of the selection committee will be final and will not be commented
